American dad and actor Bob Saget died at the age of 65.
Multiple sources connected to the iconic comedian and actor — most famous for his starring role as Danny Tanner in ‘Full House.’ He passed away Sunday at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando.
The Sheriff’s Department and the fire department responded to the hotel around 4 PM ET … after hotel security had found Bob in his room. He was pronounced dead on the scene, but the circumstances of his death are still unclear.
The actor is believed to have passed away on his late sister’s birthday, who died in 1994.
In an Instagram post shared early on Jan. 9, Saget wrote, “Today would have been my sister Gay’s 75th birthday. She lost her life to scleroderma when she was 47. My heart goes out to all who have lost a loved one to this disease. No one should have to suffer as Gay did, which is why I’m committed to finding a cure and a proud board member of the Scleroderma Research Foundation.”
In a statement Sunday, Saget’s family members said they are “devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today…. Though we ask for privacy at this time, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world.”
