A$AP ROCKY ORDERED TO STAND TRIAL OVER SHOOTING INCIDENT

Rapper A$AP Rocky will stand trial on charges that he assaulted a former childhood friend with a firearm in 2021.

The decision was made on Monday during the second day of a preliminary hearing, which was attended by A$AP Rocky.

Prosecutors say the 35 year old, pointed and fired a handgun at Terell Ephron, causing minor injuries.

Rocky, who has two children with singer Rihanna, has pleaded not guilty.

The Grammy nominated rapper, who has had two US number one albums, is facing two felony counts of assault with a firearm.

He could receive up to nine years in prison if found guilty.
