Someone finally got a ring out of US rapper A$ap Rocky but unfortunately, it wasn't our Bajan popstar and fashion mogul Rihanna.
The Fashion Killa rapper was announced as the newest ambassador for the legacy fashion house in a cinematic commercial directed by Michel Gondry, behind Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, acting alongside dramatic actress Margaret Qualley. In the commercial's New York set story, Rocky appears as the significant other of Qualley's character, who goes about her day while he races to meet her on one knee with a ring in hand as she ascends out of the subway system.
A$AP Rocky's Chanel Ambassadorship marks his latest pursuit in a year spent exploring the industry, including serving as co-chair in May's Met Gala held under the theme Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, being named Ray Ban's newest creative director and organising his second fashion show under his creative agency AWGE during Men's Fashion Week in Paris earlier this year.
