Krispy Kreme Jamaica has confirmed that due to damaged machinery caused by a fire this morning at its Waterloo location, local doughnut production will be affected.
As such the company's waterloo location will be temporarily closed to ensure the safety of staff and customers.
The company says while doughnut production is affected, other menu items will be available at other locations. It says one team member was taken to hospital as a precaution.
However, Krispy Kreme says there are no reports of any serious injuries caused by the incident.
