Earlier in the day, former Diddy assistant George Kaplan testified about cleaning up after alleged “freak-offs” hosted by Diddy.
But the moment social media fans were waiting for came when American rapper Kid Cudi took the stand today (May 22) in Sean "Diddy" Combs’ sex trafficking and racketeering trial, sharing details about a disturbing incident tied to his brief 2011 relationship with singer Cassie Ventura.
The “The Stars In The Sky” singer testified that after picking Cassie up one night, he returned home to find opened packages and his dog locked in a bathroom, visibly shaken. He said Diddy had called him earlier, saying, “I’m over here waiting for you,” which Cudi took as a threat. He admitted he wanted to confront Diddy, believing he had broken into his home.
Cudi also spoke about his Porsche being set on fire with a Molotov cocktail, showing photos in court. He stated that he believed the act was intentional, although Diddy denied having any knowledge of it when he was confronted.
Under cross-examination, Cudi admitted he felt “played” during his brief relationship with Cassie. His testimony adds to a growing list of witnesses linking Diddy to troubling behaviour.
