Rising reggae sensation YG Marley has reached a major milestone with his breakout single “Praise Jah in the Moonlight,” which has officially sold over 1.5 million units in the United States, according to the latest data.
The track, independently released, has now secured Platinum certification from the RIAA and earned multi-Platinum status in Canada and New Zealand, reinforcing its status as a global reggae anthem.
“Praise Jah in the Moonlight” pays homage to Marley’s roots, sampling Bob Marley’s powerful 1979 track “Crisis.”
To date, the song has accumulated over 379 million streams on Spotify and nearly 28 million views on YouTube, peaking at No. 11 on the Billboard Global 200.
