Dancehall artist Vybz Kartel has announced a three-city UK arena tour as part of his global return to the stage.
The tour kicks off at London’s O2 Arena on September 4, followed by Manchester’s Co-Op Live on September 10, and Birmingham’s BP Pulse Live on September 19.
The UK dates follow a string of sold-out U.S. shows in Brooklyn, Florida, and Atlanta, and precede his newly added Paris show at Accor Arena on July 10. In between UK stops, Kartel will also headline the Freedom Street Festival in Malta September 11 to14.
This marks Kartel’s first full-scale UK performance since his release, after making a brief appearance at the MOBO Awards in February, where he accepted the MOBO Impact Award.
Kartel is also slated for major summer festivals, including Wireless UK, Summerjam Germany, and a return to Reggae Sumfest on July 14, his first in 14 years.
