In a historic first for the island, thousands of revellers experienced first hand, Red Bull's world-renowned Chilean acrobatic paraglider, Victor “Bicho” Carrera, soared above the road march in an exhilarating aerial spectacle.
He then returned later in the evening for a second aerial showcase at the Big Wall After Party, illuminating the night sky with twists, turns, and signature flight maneuvers that have made him a standout on the global paragliding stage.
In a statement, Carrera said “ he's been paragliding all over the world but being in Jamaica was definitely one of the most challenging but also the most memorable experiences!
It's his first time in Jamaica, and he noted that flying over the carnival was incredible, being able to see the huge crowd in costume and all their reactions.
Sharing what goes into making a flight like this happen, Carrera explained, “It requires a lot of preparation and practice to be able to fly in different situations all over the world.
