Share

Lionel Messi made his maiden visit to Jamaica a memorable night by finding the back of the net, as Inter Miami saw off hosts Cavalier FC 2-0 on Thursday.

The legendary Argentina star, who had missed the past three matches because of muscle fatigue, was introduced as a 53rd-minute substitute and marked his return to action in style.

Cavalier FC shifted their CONCACAF Champions Club Cup second leg tie to Kingston’s 35,000-capacity National Stadium, and sold out within hours of the tickets going on sale.

ARTISTE DING DONG: ...."Delighted to have the gad of football on our national pitch…. Big up to coach speed and his cavaliers team who made this possible and for playing such a good game for us we are very proud of u and that u made history ......

Meantime, A young boy had his Luis Suárez match jersey returned after it was stolen from him, moments after receiving it following Inter Miami’s victory over Cavalier S.C

Selector Shukkle Bus brought the concern to social media, asking that it be returned. Hours later, he showed video evidence of the boy and his jersey reunited!
