Scores of well-wishers and only a few industry players attended the funeral of dancehall entertainer Danny English at yesterday.
The proceedings were held at Perry’s Chapel in Spanish Town, St. Catherine and his body laid to rest at Meadowrest Memorial Gardens.
Danny English died on Thursday January 24 at the Kingston Public Hospital. Back in January family members confirmed that the artiste passed away, surrounded by loved ones.
The 54-year-old deejay had been battling diabetes for a long time.
Danny English was best known for his infectious hit single “Party Time”, a collaboration with Egg Nog.
