American rapper, Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” has returned to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 (Feb. 22 chart), jumping from number 15 after his Super Bowl LIX halftime show performance on February 9th.
This marks the song’s third week at the top of the chart, following its debut at No. 1 in May 2024 and another reign in July after its official video release.
The banger made history as the first non-holiday track to reach number 1 three separate times with at least two-month gaps between each return. It also recorded the third-longest break between No. 1 stints in Hot 100 history, behind only Chubby Checker’s “The Twist” and Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”
K.Dot now ties his personal best Hot 100 run, previously achieved with “Like That” (ft Future & Metro Boomin). He has had five No. 1 hits, including “Humble.” (2017), “Bad Blood” with Taylor Swift (2015), and “Squabble Up” (2024).
According to Billboard, “Not Like Us” saw major gains, logging 49 million streams (+156%), 20.5 million radio impressions (+31%), and 33,000 sales (+432%) in the U.S. between Feb. 7-13.
