American rapper Snoop Dogg is still under fire for his performance at the pro-Trump Crypto Ball on January 17 and is losing followers on social media.
The “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper has reportedly lost over 571,800 Instagram followers and nearly 20,000 on X (formerly Twitter).
Despite the criticism, the hip-hop mogul still has over 88 million Instagram followers and 20 million on X.
The controversy stems from Snoop’s performance alongside Rick Ross and Soulja Boy, as well as photos with MAGA supporters and far-right influencers.
Fans and critics, including a former Obama staffer, have called out the rapper for hypocrisy, as he previously criticised Black artists who supported Trump.
