Industry players & fans have been sharing their condolences after news broke about the passing of dancehall artiste Danny English.

In a tribute post Bounty Killer wrote: "I never like being the first to break sad news like this dawg but RIP @realdannyenglish walk good bredda'..

Gramps Morgan wrote: "Jah know Condolences to this man family was a pleasure to meet him many years ago with the family"

Mr. G notes: 'RIP great 1 Danny English you will be missed by both your family, friends and fans. You were a true Artist , who Mastered your craft both on stage and recording you loved the music to your soul and dedicated your life to it sleeping peace my friend your music will live on through generations to generations, Death is a road we all have to travel no exceptions to the rules until we meet again. Stay blessed."

Danny English who was 54 years old, passed away last evening (January 23) while at Hospital.

Its reported that he's been ailing for quite some time, and passed away following complications associated with diabetes.

English is best known for the 2002 hit, 'Party Time' & Bun'.
