Retired talk show host Wendy Williams says that she is not cognitively impaired and that her conservatorship has her trapped in a “luxury prison.”
This morning (January 16), Williams tearfully told the Breakfast Club radio show that her guardian has her in a "luxury prison" with only limited contact with her family.
Wendy called in to the show to dispute reports about her mental capacity, explaining her daily life in the painstaking interview.
Her niece, Florida news anchor Alex Finnie, joined her on the show to agree with the stance of Williams being held in a luxurious prison.
Finnie claimed that she was badgered with security questions before entering. Breakfast Club host Loren LoRosa, who is also Wendy’s niece, agreed with Finnie’s stance, stating that it was “horrible.”
In the emotional interview, the 60-year-old expressed concerns about possibly not being able to see her father next month for his 94th birthday as well as her phone possibly being confiscated due to the interview.
