A raging wildfire currently blazing through sections of the Hollywood Hills has left devastation to the city's inhabitants.
The blaze, dubbed the "Sunset Fire," erupted yesterday (January 8) and has left the iconic town in a near-apocalyptic state.
According to CNN, at least five people have been reported dead so far; officials on Thursday said, “Frankly, we don’t know” where the true death toll stands. Evacuation orders are impacting nearly 180,000 residents.
Unfortunately, anywhere between 200 and 500 structures have been destroyed or damaged from the fire, including a few celebrity homes.
Stars impacted by the fire include Paris Hilton, Mandy Moore, Jhene Aiko, Ricki Lake, and Billy Crystal.
Paris Hilton stated that she found out that her Malibu home was destroyed by an ABC News clip and mentioned that was where her son, Phoenix, took his first steps.
Jhene Aiko took to her Instagram earlier today to share that her home was “burned down to the ground”. She stated that her children were safe; however, she has to start from scratch with a heavy heart.
