Six Jamaican artistes are vying for the Best Caribbean Music Act award at the 2025 MOBO Awards.

MOBO which stands for Music of Black Origin, celebrates black music of various genres.

Popcaan, Skillibeng, Spice, Valiant, Shenseea and YG Marley are among the names on the list to compete for the coveted title.

The announcement was made yesterday morning (December 4).

In the "Best Caribbean Music Act" category, Spice and Valiant received their second nomination, while Shenseea, Popcaan, and Skillibeng received their third.

The group's only first-time candidate is YG Marley.

In 2022, Skillibeng took home the first prize, and in 2023, Valiant did the same.

British actor, Kingsley Ben-Adir, is also nominated for Best Performance in a TV Show/Film. The Trinidadian-born actor gained notoriety for his highly regarded performance as Bob Marley, the reggae legend, in the biopic "Bob Marley: One Love."
