Health Minister Dr Christopher Tufton says as the country looks to rebound from the effects of Covid-19, businesses must employ innovative methods to aid in curtailing the spread of the virus.

According to Dr. Tufton, the business sector must mirror the performance of the health sector in learning to accommodate the virus.

He notes that the recovery process will be largely supported if business owners implement policies to curtail the spread of the virus.

He says businesses must pay keen attention to infection prevention and control and health emergency plans.

However, Dr Tufton says despite other Caribbean countries embarking on the recovery process, it is still very fragile.

He states that the process continues to be hampered by the emergence of new variants.

Dr. Tufton says the health sector must be flexible in handling the virus as well as other ailments.
