MORE ACCESS TO VACCINES THROUGH FIXED SITES

Jamaicans will now have more permanent locations to access the COVID-19 vaccines, as the Ministry has expanded the number of fixed sites across the island to 55.

The Ministry of Health says these fixed sites have been established in the health districts across the 14 parishes and will operate from Monday to Saturday with some sites open until 6:00 p.m.

Up to Thursday, September 16, a total of 699,974 doses of COVID-19 vaccines had been administered, including 484, 872 first doses, 195, 714 second doses and 19, 389 single doses.
