Prime Minster Andrew Holness has announced a relaxation of the no movement days and other measures aimed at slowing the spread of COVID 19. He made the announcement while addressing Parliament.

For the last 4 weeks, Jamaicans had to observe no-movement days from Sundays through to Tuesday, with many businesses and individuals calling for an end to the measure.

Some argued that it was counter productive with the loss of two productivity days.

Health Professionals, however, welcomed the move as they sought to get a handle on the COVID 19 spike and hospitalization numbers.
