Opposition Spokesman on Labour and Social Security, Senator Floyd Morris is calling for national dialogue and the development of a policy on vaccination requirements in the workplace.
Senator Morris’ call comes as workplaces have taken steps to implement their own policies regarding COVID-19 vaccination with some entities calling for weekly testing of un-vaccinated employees.
There’s also growing anxiety around the topic of mandatory vaccination for workers. According to Senator Morris, with 1,600 beds and over 71,000 reported COVID cases in the country, there is need for consensus on how to treat with the matter.
