Drake’s sixth studio album, ‘Certified Lover Boy’ has finally arrived after its announcement a little over a year ago.
Drake’s hot new album has 21 tracks and features big stars like JAY-Z, Future, Travis Scott, Lil Wayne, Young Thug, 21 Savage, Ty Dolla $ign, Kid Cudi, Rick Ross, Lil Baby and many more. Drake describes his album as, “a combination of toxic masculinity and acceptance of truth which is inevitably heartbreaking”.
Drake and Kanye fans over the last few weeks have been in a whirlwind as to whose album would be the best. ‘DONDA‘ was first to drop, it was also first to take the number one spot, since the release of CLB last night, it has now eclipsed that of DONDA on the charts.
On the song ‘7 am on Bridle Path‘, Drizzy appears to take more shots at Kanye, who has been his longtime nemesis. While he didn’t directly name drop, he did mention recent headlines that involve Kanye, including reports that ’Ye posted the Canadian rapper’s address on Instagram.
Drake also went ahead and dropped the music video for ‘Way 2 Sexy’, featuring Future and Young Thug, which is the first song on CLB to receive visuals.
Critics say that Drake’s album is refreshing and incredibly well-executed, whereas Kanye’s has been described as chaotic and unfinished.
