Approximately 80 percent of children in residential state care facilities have been vaccinated against Covid-19.

Chief Executive Officer of the Child Protection and Family Services Agency CPFSA, Rosalee Gage Grey, gave the update while speaking at a recent town hall meeting.

She said there are approximately 4,600 children in the care of the state across all its programs, the majority of whom have received the Covid-19 vaccine.

She urged parents to listen to the information being provided by the Ministries of Health and Education and to get their children vaccinated in an effort to protect them.
