The nursing fraternity is in mourning this morning, as yet another nurse has died from COVID-19.
This is the second nurse reported to have died this month from the virus.
President of the Nurses Association of Jamaica, NAJ, Patsy Edwards-Henry, says registered nurse, Diedre Davis-Cunningham, who worked at the Savanna-La-Mar Hospital, in Westmoreland passed away last night.
She notes that nurses are saddened by her passing, adding that support will be given to the nurse’s colleagues at the Savanna-La-Mar Hospital.
Meanwhile, Acting Regional Director of the Western Regional Health Authority, St. Andrade Sinclair says the region has lost a good nurse.
