Pink’s dad, Jim Moore, passed away yesterday after battling prostate cancer.
The singer took to Instagram this morning to announce his passing. The artiste posted two photos of her dad and herself with the caption “Til Forever”. Another image, which was posted shortly after his passing, showed the two performing “I Have Seen the Rain” in New York City in April 2006, she captioned the post, “Daddy-Sir”.
Last July, Pink revealed that her father had prostate cancer and had just finished his second round of chemo for prostate cancer.
When the news broke fans flooded her comment sections with messages and condolences, one person wrote, “So sorry for your loss. I hope your strength gets you through this”.
The Vietnam war veteran survived by his wife, Grace Lilleg Moore and his children, Pink and Jason Moore, along with several grandchildren including Pink’s daughter, Willow, 10, and son, Jameson, 4.
