4 PEOPLE DEAD IN EARLY MORNING MARKET TRUCK CRASH

Vice Chairman of the National Road Safety Council, Dr. Lucien Jones, has described an accident in Manchester which claimed the lives of 4 persons early this morning as a disaster.

The identities of the deceased have not been released, but reports are that, they were travelling in a market truck along the Pen Hill Main Road, when it overturned and crashed in a bus stop, at about 2:15 am. Dr. Jones says the accident is very tragic.

Data released today, indicate, that since January 1, 307 persons have died in crashes.

Warning that the total figure for 2021 could increase to 483, he says everyone must take personal responsibility of their safety.
