Dancehall artiste Ninjaman, whose given name is Desmond Ballentine, is mourning the loss of one of his sons, Jammar Ballentine otherwise known as ‘Roy’ or ‘Ratty’.
Reports are that Jammar was murdered along Olympic Way in Kingston 11 two days ago.
Ballentine was reportedly shot after visiting an accident scene. He was subsequently taken to hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.
Ninjaman and one of his other sons, Janiel Ballentine, are currently serving a sentence of life behind bars for the 2009 murder of Ricardo Johnson.
Ninjaman is currently serving a life sentence for the 2009 murder of Ricardo ‘Ricky Trooper’ Johnson. He has to serve at least25 years in prison before he is eligible for parole.
