The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management, ODPEM is reporting that a minor earthquake was felt in Jamaica at 12:27 this afternoon.
The 3.1 magnitude earthquake was located approximately six km southwest of Alligator Pond, Manchester.
The quake which was felt in both Manchester and St Elizabeth, had a focal depth of 17 kilometres.
