Jamaica has recorded 5 more Covid-19 related deaths, pushing that tally to 1,187.
The Ministry of Health is also reporting 180 new positive cases, pushing the country’s total confirmed cases to 52, 684.
Of the new cases, 73 are males,107 females, with ages ranging from 1 day to 95 years.
Kingston and St. Andrew had the highest number of cases with 57, followed by Westmoreland 20 and St. Catherine with 19.
28 persons have recovered in the last 24 hours, pushing total recoveries to 46, 966.
There are 4,142 active cases.
