The Electoral Office of Jamaica (EOJ) has indicated that it’s in preparation mode for the by-elections set for next month.
Parliamentary by-elections will be held for the Trelawny Southern and St. Andrew North Western constituencies, while municipal by-elections are set for Morant Bay in St. Thomas and Aenon Town in Clarendon.
Nomination day is November 6 and election day is November 22, for all 4 by elections.
Director of Elections, Glasspole Brown said the budget for the upcoming by-election will be submitted to the Finance Ministry tomorrow.
He said election workers will do a refresher training session.
