There is a High Pressure Ridge across Jamaica. Additionally there is a Low-Level Jet Stream across the region.
The Ridge is expected to remain across the island throughout today. A Trough is then expected to move into the vicinity of Jamaica tomorrow and linger for the next several days.
Expect windy conditions to persist during the days due to the presence of the Low-Level Jet stream.
This morning and afternoon should be mainly sunny and windy, while tonight should be fair.
