Dancehall artiste Popcaan is set to receive a diamond plaque, after being featured on Megan Thee Stallion’s Good News Album on a track entitled “Intercourse”.
Megan revealed to her fans Thursday that her debut project has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (R.I.A.A).
In a message to fans, Megan, who was recently featured in a BAPE and Coach collab campaign, reflected on writing and recording the bulk of the 17-track album during the pandemic. She also looked ahead to what’s next, saying she “can’t wait” for fans to experience what she has in store.
Platinum status account for sales of over one million copies.
Good News was released November 19 2020, via 300 Entertainment and 1501 Certified. Last month, Megan followed up the 17-track album with her new single, “Thot -ish.”
