This year’s staging of Dream Weekend has been given the green-light by government.
This, organisers revealed on social media today.
Last month, organisers had announced that they submitted their application and plan to the Entertainment Ministry following the reopening of the entertainment sector on July 1.
According to Prime Minister Andrew Holness, large scale events must apply through the Ministry who would review the application to see that it meets the safety requirements, and if satisfied, it would forward the application to the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM)
The five-day party series will run from August 5-9 in Negril, Westmoreland.
