National sprint double champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce had to settle for third place in the women’s 200 meters at the Monaco leg of the Wanda Diamond League on Friday afternoon.
She ran 22.48 seconds, behind winner Shaunae Miller-Uibo of the Bahamas, and the Ivory Coast’s Marie-Josée Ta Lou.
Elsewhere, National champion Shanieka Ricketts produced a distance of 14.75m as she won the women’s triple jump .
Ricketts defeated reigning world champion Yulimar Rojas of Venezuela.
