There is a High Pressure Ridge across Jamaica. Additionally there is a Low-Level Jet Stream across the Caribbean Basin.
The High Pressure Ridge is expected to remain across Jamaica tonight. A Trough is expected to move into the vicinity of Jamaica on Saturday and linger for the weekend. Windy conditions are expected to persist for the weekend.
The Met office says tonight should be mainly fair, with windy conditions along coastal areas.
Tomorrow Morning expect isolated showers across eastern parishes, partly cloudy elsewhere.
Tomorrow Afternoon should see isolated showers and thunderstorms mainly across southern parishes, partly cloudy elsewhere.
