Diddy‘s team is clearing up rumours that he had something to do with Jamie Foxx‘s hospitalization.
On Friday (Oct. 25), TMZ reported on the taping of Jamie’s highly anticipated comedy special, What Had Happened Was, and the details of what fans could expect.
Sources close to the event stated that one joke found Jamie allegedly tying his hospitalization to Combs.
While many people speculated that Foxx was speaking his truth regarding the disgraced mogul, sources told the outlet that Foxx’s comments were merely a joke.
Page Six previously reported that Foxx’s stand-up special and garnered two different reactions to his Diddy joke: one source claimed he was serious and “exposing” Diddy, while the other said it was obviously a joke and that, “If [Diddy] was responsible, I’d be dead.”
Now, Combs’ team is saying enough is enough with the apparent allegations.
AllHipHop reports that the mogul’s team sent over an email calling out the idea that Diddy was behind the comedian’s recent health scare, calling the claims “outlandish, ridiculous, and baseless.”
Sean Combs, 54, was initially arrested in late September, with prosecutors hitting him with a RICO charge and charges of sex trafficking. During the press conference held on Tuesday (Sept. 17), the feds revealed that they have been building a case against the mogul since 2008.
