People’s National Party, PNP Caretaker for Central Kingston, Imani Duncan-Price, is renewing her calls for a Zone of Special Operations, ZOSO to be implemented in communities in Central Kingston.
This as incidents of crime and violence continue to rise.
A curfew has been imposed in sections of the division which began at 7:00 p.m. on Monday and will remain in effect until 7:00 p.m. today.
Mrs. Duncan-Price in welcoming the curfew in sections of Southside and Tel Aviv, said more communities must be included in the curfew.
She added that a ZOSO is still needed to meaningfully reduce violent crime rates.
