BET announces 16 performers for upcoming Awards Show

DaBaby, who has seven nominations for the 2021 BET Awards, putting him in a tie with Megan Thee Stallion for the lead, is set to perform on the show on June 27.

BET announced 16 performers today, which it says is the highest number of performers in the show’s 21-year history.

Other artists set to perform on the show, which will air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, are Andra Day, City Girls, DJ Khaled, H.E.R., Jazmine Sullivan, Kirk Franklin, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Migos, Moneybagg Yo!, Rapsody, Roddy Ricch and Tyler, The Creator.

Hosted by Taraji P. Henson, the 2021 BET Awards will also honor Queen Latifah with this year’s lifetime achievement award.
