Prime Minister Andrew Holness has stated that further amendments will be made soon, to the Covid measures in a bid to ease the emotional stress being experienced by citizens.
He was speaking at the Diaspora Sustainability Town Hall, last evening (Wed).
Mr. Holness noted that the government understands the situation citizens face, and the impact of the pandemic, especially on poorer people.
He also noted complaints due to comparisons with what is happening in other jurisdictions, which have relaxed their measures.
The Prime Minister pointed out that Jamaica cannot relax the measures in the same manner as other countries, because the vaccination rate here is still low.
