Maria Sharapova, a five-time Grand Slam champion, and American twins Bob and Mike Bryan, the most successful doubles team in history, have been inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame’s Class of 2025.
Sharapova, one of just 10 women to achieve a career Grand Slam in singles, was the first Russian woman to reach the world’s number-one ranking in 2005.
Despite recurring shoulder injuries, she earned nearly $40 million in prize money, making her one of the highest-paid women in sports.
After a 15-month suspension, the 2012 London Olympics silver medalist returned to the sport in 2017, ultimately retiring in February 2020.
