At least 11 men are dead following separate shooting incidents across the island between yesterday and this morning.
The incidents occurred in Kingston, St. Catherine and Clarendon.
The Clarendon incident was an alleged shootout between police and armed men.
In the latest incident this morning, two men were shot dead by gunmen on Orange Street in downtown Kingston. Their names have not yet been released.
Police say a man was also found dead along the Salt Pond main road in Spanish Town, St. Catherine at about 5:45 this morning. His body had multiple gunshot wounds.
In the meantime, at about 7:50 PM, 5 men were shot dead and two other people wounded at a football match in Rockfort, Kingston Eastern.
Police have identified four of the five deceased men, two of whom are father and son.
They are 51-year-old Ortavia Austin, 29-year-old Okero Austin, 32-year-old Odane Joseph, and Rosrick Thomas all from Pleasant Heights.
Meanwhile, at about 2:15 PM yesterday in Hunts Pen, May Pen, Clarendon, 3 men were fatally shot by police.
Reports are that armed men travelling in a white Toyota Probox motor car were signalled to stop when they opened gunfire at the police.
The police say they returned fire, and the men were later found suffering from gunshot wounds.
They were taken to the hospital where they were pronounced dead.
The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) is probing that incident.
All other incidents are being probed by the police.
