JAMAICA RECORDS 8 MORE DEATHS FROM COVID AND 123 NEW CASES

Jamaica has recorded 8 more fatalities related to COVID 19 in the latest testing period.

The fatalities were recorded in a 71-year-old man from St Catherine, and an 84-year-old man from Kingston and St Andrew. Elsewhere two women, ages 66 and 91 and two men, ages 74, 67 died in St James. Two women from Westmoreland, ages 86 and 92, also died.

The country also recorded 123 new cases which included 72 females and 52 males with ages ranging from six months to 97 years.

The bulk of the cases were recorded in Kingston and St Andrew, St Catherine, and St James.
