Less than 5 months into the year, Jamaica has recorded over 500 murders.
According to statistics released by the Jamaica Constabulary, 507 murders have been recorded as at Saturday May 15.
This is 1.6 per cent or 8 more than the 499 recorded in the corresponding period last year.
