Seven people were shot, with five succumbing to their injuries, in Rockfort, Kingston Eastern, last night (Mon).
The identities of the deceased have not yet been disclosed.
According to reports, at around 8:50 p.m., the group was attending a football match in the community when gunmen opened fire, hitting several individuals.
The police were called, and the victims were rushed to the hospital. Five were pronounced dead, while the others received medical treatment.
Investigations are ongoing.
