Thirty Nine Caribbean countries including Jamaica and Latin American territories will have access to HBO Max this coming June.
This marks the first availability for the platform outside of the U.S. with this entirely new streaming experience. Audiences in the region will soon be able to enjoy world-class content that includes the most loved and fan-favourite programming.
HBO Max will offer movies and TV series from the major Warner Media properties including HBO, Warner Bros, New Line, DC, CNN, TNT, TBS, truTV, Adult Swim, along with Cartoon Network and Looney Tunes Cartoons for younger viewers.
Existing HBO GO direct-billed customers, and those who are billed through eligible partners will get instant access to HBO Max. Current HBO GO service in Latin America and the Caribbean will be phased out, subscribers will now have access to an entirely new HBO Max app that reflects the product experience in the U.S
HBO will later expand to Europe but in a different way. No information has been given yet on a launch in Canada.
