3 more persons died yesterday in the latest COVID-19 figures released by the Ministry of Health and Wellness.
The latest victims are from Kingston and St Andrew and has brought Jamaica’s death toll to 672.
The country also recorded 381 new COVID-19 cases.
n the meantime, The COVID-19 field hospital, which was previously set up at the National Chest Hospital in St. Andrew, has been redeployed to the Spanish Town Hospital in St. Catherine.
This field hospital was donated by the United Sates Government through the US Embassy in Jamaica.
Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr. Christopher Tufton, toured the relocated facility, before officially opening it for patient care.
