Saint Lucia’s Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs Minister, Moses Jn. Baptiste has underscored the responsibility of governments to ensure healthcare professionals’ safety, security, and mental well-being.
According to a Ministry release, Jn. Baptiste stressed the pressing need to protect healthcare workers, particularly in environments impacted by crime and violence.
The Minister led a local delegation to the Forty-Seventh Council for Human and Social Development (COHSOD) meeting in Washington, D.C.
The Health Ministry release said Jn. Baptiste actively participated in discussions, making key contributions regarding the intersection of crime, violence, and public health.
