Sean Paul shows support for ‘new sound’ of Dancehall on ‘Live & Livin’ Album


What many industry players label as “trap dancehall”, Sean Paul says its simply “dancehall’, noting that Jamaica’s musical influences have always been borderless.

While speaking with the Zee, the multi-award-winning entertainer explains the evolution of the genre.

With over a dozen features on his latest dancehall project entitled ‘Live & Livin, Sean Paul doesn’t not have a favourite track on his album. He however notes the diversity of the project, with assists from the likes of Busy Signal, Buju Banton, Masicka, Jesse Royal, Serani & others.
