POLICE SEEK MAN IN RELATION TO COMMON-LAW WIFE’S MURDER

Detectives assigned to the Spanish Town Criminal Investigations Branch have named 27-year-old Rhiyeme Woodhouse, otherwise called ‘Pops’, as a person of interest in relation to the murder of his common-law wife yesterday.

The dead woman has been identified as 37-year-old Tameka Richards of Manchester Lane in Spanish Town.

Woodhouse is asked to turn himself in to the Spanish Town Police by 6pm today.

Reports are that about 6:30 am yesterday, residents visited Richards’ home and found her lying face down on a bed with multiple stab wounds to her upper body. Her throat was reportedly slashed.

Lawmen are appealing to anyone with information that can assist them in their investigations to contact the Spanish Town Police, police 119 emergency number, or the nearest police station.
