The Police High Command has issued an alert to divisional heads to be on the lookout for attacks on homeless persons similar to those which took place in the Corporate Area on Sunday.
Communication Officer for the Jamaica Constabulary Force, Senior Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay believes this is an important precaution, in the event that plans are being made to copy this type of  attack in other parishes.
Four homeless men were killed and two injured in three police divisions.
Investigators believe the killings were coordinated.
SSP Lindsay confirmed that contingency measures are in place at urban centres islandwide as part of that high alert.
