The curfew which was imposed in Trench Town, Kingston, last week has again been extended.
Senior Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay, Communication Officer for the Jamaica Constabulary Force, said the curfew will continue until this evening.
She said the police and military will maintain a strong presence in the Kingston Western division.
The curfew was imposed last Friday following a spate of shootings in Trench Town.
